WELCOME
Resort Country is a deed restricted subdivision centrally located on the eastern shore of Lake Livingston, about 85 miles north of downtown Houston. It contains 189 lots owned by 105 property owners. Approximately 60% of property owners are weekenders and 40% live here full-time.
Resort Country is notable for its’ oversized lots with the median lakefront home having over 80 feet of water frontage. The subdivision is also known for having underground electrical, phone and internet cabling, county maintained streets and our own private water supply. Resort Country offers excellent fishing, breathtaking sunsets, and an abundance of mature trees that serve as a beacon for the native bald eagles in search of a tall tree in which to perch.
The subdivision features a community clubhouse and a waterfront park on a peninsula known as The Point. The streets in Resort Country all parallel the Lake Livingston Shoreline providing spectacular views from home or while walking, running, or casually riding around the neighborhood. It is a quick 5-10 minute boat ride to Pine Island and is less than 5 minutes by boat to the nearby waterfront restaurant and marina.
The Resort Country Property Owners Association (RCPOA) is active in assuring the community maintains its’ high standards of property preservation and improvement of the common areas and services to all property owners.
The RCPOA Board welcomes inquiries.
